The Sunday Social: Cook, Eat & Connect

3 hours of learning, cooking and dining.
Movement. Spice mastery. Fermentation secrets. Then we feast together at the community table.
@Whitehaven Hub • Sundays 10am-1pm • Limited to 25 People
This is typical format but content and format can change but not the fun, learning and social connection
We start with gentle yoga or dance to wake up the body. You'll cook better when you're present. (Optional — no judgment if you skip!)
Learn the 10 spices that make 90% of Indian dishes. Smell them. Toast them. Understand them. You'll never be intimidated by spices again.
We cook together: - It could be Fermented dosa batter (8-hour process explained + shortcuts) or seasonal curries (changes monthly) or Fresh chutneys or Masala chai from scratch You're doing the work. We guide you. That's how you actually learn.
We sit at the community table. Share the meal we just made. Connect with fellow food lovers. This is the magic part.
Pack up leftovers in your containers. Join the WhatsApp group. Book your next session (most people do)
🔒 Transferable Pass (Use Anytime Within 9 Months)

The Sunday Social is PERFECT if you:
This is NOT a rigid classroom where you watch a chef perform. It's a community kitchen where you DO THE WORK with guidance. Beginners welcome. Skeptics welcome. Introverts welcome. Extroverts welcome. Just bring curiosity.
Q: I'm a complete beginner. Will I be totally lost?
A: Perfect! 60% of our attendees are complete beginners. We teach from first principles. Zero assumptions. Zero judgment. You could have never touched a spice in your life and you'll leave confident.
Q: What if I can't make the date I book?
A: Your pass is 100% transferable and valid for 9 months.
Can't make March 23? Use it for April 13. Or May 18. Or any future date. You can also gift it to a friend, swap with someone, or sell it. Full flexibility.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Just yourself and a reusable container for leftovers (Tupperware, glass containers, whatever and apron but optional). We provide:
You just show up.
Q: Is it suitable for vegans?
A: Absolutely. We always cook vegan options. Just let us know in advance (WhatsApp us after booking) so we can accommodate.
Q: Will I actually LEARN or just watch?
A: You're cooking. Hands-on. 100%. We demonstrate techniques, then YOU do it yourself while we guide. That's how you actually learn. Watching is passive. Doing is transformative.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: YES! Book two spots. Many people come as couples, mother-daughter pairs, or with friends. Solo attendees are also welcome — you'll make friends there.
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?
A: We accommodate:
