Why we cook this way
Lunch, made properly.
Most quick food today is ultra-processed. And Indian food usually means a late-night takeaway.
We wanted breakfast and lunch that tastes exciting and is made properly, from scratch, so we cook the way South India has for generations.
Dosa Chaska is run by co-founders Sachin and Shubha. We started with a food trailer in 2024 and opened our café on Main Street in April 2026, with Shubha leading the kitchen.
- Pancake batter naturally fermented for 8 to 12 hours, a bit like sourdough
- 8 to 12 whole ingredients. No emulsifiers, stabilisers or artificial colours
- Pancakes made without gluten-containing ingredients
- Most pancakes can be made vegan: just ask
